Well, I guess it is appropriate that I would be the first introduction since I created the forum.
My name is Rick Meder and I am from South Florida. Yes, you read correctly… I’m one of the very few crazy people that leave the South to head North to the snow for the winter! I try to make it up here from early January through to early March depending on work and family schedules. I get out riding every second I can and the rest of the time you will find me over at Elk skiing… oh, and working 
. My wife Jessica, my son Aidan (3 years old), and now my daughter Ashley Rose (8 weeks old) love spending as much time up here as possible. We usually make it up for a bit in the summer and occasionally in the Fall as well. Our family cabin was the first on Upper Lake (the original cottage was built over 100 years ago now!) and I have spent a good amount of time up here ever since I was baby.
I built the SCSA-PA.com website a couple years ago for the club and I decided that a forum would be a great addition. I’m really hoping that the forums get used more than the blog and photo galleries. I think it will as it is very simple to use. If anyone has any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask!
