To wax a sled try Turtle wax Ice. A liquid wax that goes on clear. No white residue or paste to remove. Works great on most surfaces. Even textured ones like a mud flap or cowling.

This is my daughter’s 1999 polaris. Wax everything you see except the grips and key chain. Done the whole sled in under an hour.

Thanks for the tip.  I will have to pick a bottle up and test it.  I have been using a 3M Marine wax that works well, but it is work.
