I won’t be needing any help, just would like everyone to know what is going on. Spread the word, especially If you know anyone that might be riding in that area.

I checked the bridge behind McDonalds today and it looks good, no damage. There was a tree across the trail before the bridge right near the split behind McDonalds. I can cut it when I get time to get back over there, I was just driving by today and figured I’d check out the bridge.

PS if everyone can stay home for a couple of days we can ride out this warm up without much loss. Pass the word

I got up this morning to a nice snow coming down and a real hard wind. I decided to take my new Kawaski Mule w/ tracks down to the main corridor from Alford to Montrose and check out the damage from the warm weather this past week. The trail is in good shape other than it is very icy. I ran from Rose Road all the way into Montrose P-N-P and it took me over hour just to get to Montrose. There were a lot of tree branches that I cleared from the trail and a couple of trees. There are a few bare spots along the trail, and some exposed frozen stones also. Other than that the trail held up real well. I did see atv tracks already on the trail, but I didn’t encounter any, and I did see some sled tracks from Tractor Supply on into P-N-P. On my ride back, I went all the way to the Alford train tracks, and that also held up real well. I only encountered one tree down from Rose Road to Alford, and I removed that and some branches along with it. Other than that everything on the main corridor looks to be in good shape. Now let’s get some new snow on top of the firm base so we can ride.
