Fun Had By All!!

The 2008 SCSA Family Day at Harry and Julia Gardner’s was a great success. The sunshine and snow were abundant, and the turnout was excellent! Everyone had a blast! All the kids, both young and old, were ripping down the sleigh riding hill. We had smash ‘em up snow tube races, high speed toboggan runs, skilled sled racers carving the mountain, and even a few attempts on a snow blade. What a great sled hill!!! And a sleigh riding hill with uphill transportation… how can you beat that??? Where were those snowmobiles running laps to bring you up the mountain when I was kid??? ![]()
A whole lot of great food was brought together and definitely enjoyed by all! My favorite was the buffalo wing dip… how about yours? And of course… what kind of family day would it be without homemade ice cream? The afternoon was capped off by Rebecca Gardner and Mike Zeffer hand cranking some amazing homemade Chocolate and Vanilla ice cream. Man was that some good stuff! Thank you to everyone for all the great food!
A great big Thank You to Harry and Julia for hosting the day! Anyone that rides the New Milford trails knows that their home is definitely the ultimate stop along the way. Add some sunshine, snow, sleigh riding, and a whole lot of people and you have a wonderful SCSA Family Day.

Sure was a great day! Lots of laughs and good memories. Many thanks to Harry & Julie for their hospitality.
Had a great time at the family day. My kids put almost 25 miles on the sleds when not on the tubes. The chicken wing dip was at the top of the food list but it was a tie with all the rest of the food. Thanks again Harry and julie.
Wheelie Steve,
I know you own a helmet. I wish we could have been there.
HA! He asked me to put his helmet on in the picture!
How about his… Wheelie Steve w/ Helmet
